Terms of Use — Coplay

Welcome to Coplay. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. What Coplay is

Coplay is a platform that lets startup founders present their projects and lets investors discover them, follow updates, and express investment interest. Coplay is a communication and discovery tool only. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, crowdfunding portal, or financial institution, and we do not facilitate, process, or guarantee any financial transaction.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for complying with the laws and securities regulations that apply to you.

3. No investment advice

Nothing in the app is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Any decision to invest is made solely by you, at your own risk. Past performance and projections shown by founders are not guarantees. Always perform your own due diligence and consult licensed professionals.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Coplay a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. You must not post false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.

5. Verification

Verification badges indicate that a user submitted documents we reviewed. They are not a guarantee of identity, solvency, or the truth of any claim.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: misrepresent yourself or a project; solicit fraud; scrape or abuse the service; upload malware; harass other users; or circumvent security or row-level access rules.

7. Account suspension

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these Terms or harm other users or the platform.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coplay is not liable for any investment losses, damages, or disputes arising between founders and investors, or from your use of the app.

9. Termination

You may stop using Coplay and delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
