Privacy Policy — Coplay

Coplay ("we", "us", "the app") connects startup founders with investors. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. By using Coplay you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, role (founder / investor), and password

(stored hashed by our authentication provider).

• Profile data: bio, company, position, country, city, website, LinkedIn,

avatar, and preferred language — all provided by you.

• Verification data: documents you upload to verify your identity. These are

stored in a private bucket and visible only to you and our moderators.

• Content: projects, updates, comments, likes, follows, messages, and

investment interests you create in the app.

• Technical data: device type and app version, used for stability and

security.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell your personal data.

2. How we use your data

• To create and operate your account.
• To show projects, updates, and messages to the relevant users.
• To verify investor and founder identities.
• To send in-app and push notifications you have enabled.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

3. Sharing

Your public profile, projects, and updates are visible to other Coplay users. Private messages are visible only to sender and recipient. Verification documents are visible only to you and our moderators. We use Supabase (database, authentication, and storage) as our infrastructure provider; data is processed on their servers under their security terms.

4. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, projects, updates, messages, and uploaded files. This action is irreversible.

5. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Auth tokens are stored in the device's secure keychain (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Access to data is restricted by row-level security rules.

6. Children

Coplay is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us for any request that cannot be completed in-app.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app.
